Phased Approach

stormwater treatment systems

At Storm Water Systems, we understand that making a significant capital expenditure for a storm water treatment system can sometimes be a challenge. The modular design of our StormPROOF Treatment System enables you to take a phased approach to the implementation of a treatment system, thereby ensuring cost control on your investments.

This modular design allows you to incrementally grow your system over time, show improvement with any NAL exceedances of your water samples, and increase the levels of protection and treatment, as needed.

Storm Water Systems uses a three-phased approach to meet your treatment needs:

  • Phase 1: Mechanical – In this initial phase, we treat storm water with a series of coarse and fine filters to dramatically lessen solids down to very low amounts.
  • Phase 2: Enhanced – The next phase involves the use of settling tanks and media to further lessen solids and metals.
  • Phase 3: Polished – The last phase involves the removal of dissolved metals to offer an extra level of polish to the water. This phase will be especially important with complying with the anticipated TMDLs on impaired bodies of water from the Water Board.

Advanced BMPs

Beyond storm water treatment, Storm Water Systems offers phased approaches to the installation of Advanced BMP solutions for treatment, infiltration, shelters, or retention ponds.
